Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for teamwork and safety communications.
• Willingness to work at least 40 hours per week and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Attend and be punctual; timeliness is essential.
• Observe equipment and listen for issues to locate trouble.
• Read job orders and determine procedures.
• Dismantle devices; install and reassemble parts.
• Inspect parts for wear; check dimensional changes.
• Inspect guards, bolts, and safety devices; adjust as needed.
• Repair or replace defective parts; lubricate and clean.
• Test repaired equipment and verify performance.
• Operate drill press, grinder, and metalworking tools.
• Log work orders in Transman Fleet EMS and record parts used.
• Follow all safety policies and wear protective equipment.
