Qualifications

• Must be able to endure severe weather and temperature conditions while performing maintenance.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate using the English Language.
• Must be computer literate to perform required job functions.
• Must be a team player and able to get along with others.
• Must be capable of entering and exiting cabs of tractors multiple times per hour.
• Must operate all equipment including forklifts and related tools.
• Forklift, Top Pick, Swapper and Tire Bay certifications are required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain shop powered and non-powered equipment for safe operation.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.
• Refuel, lubricate, and service tractors, forklifts, dollies, and chassis.
• Pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA/FMCSR requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanics to determine repair actions and maintain records.
