Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking a Materials Operations Lead to provide leadership and governance for Alaska materials management. You will coordinate inventory optimization, data governance, and cross-functional alignment across Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics to optimize material readiness for all activities.

The role requires 7+ years in materials or related fields, strong SAP MM knowledge, and a willingness to travel within Alaska.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 7+ years in Materials Management, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Warehousing or similar.
• Intermediate knowledge of inventory control and physical inventory processes.
• Intermediate knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Inventory Management.
• Willing and able to travel 15% annually within Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Lead Alaska inventory governance, accuracy, and optimization programs.
• Coordinate material readiness for operations, maintenance, drilling, projects and turnarounds.
• Serve as Alaska focal point for SAP MM, inventory management, and data governance.
• Analyze inventory, warehouse, logistics, and performance to identify risks and improvements.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership decision-making.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve inventory and material availability issues.
• Drive continuous improvement for process standardization and automation.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Operations, Maintenance, Drilling, Projects, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics.
