Job summary

UIC Commercial Services seeks a Health, Safety, Environmental, and Training (HSET) Manager based in Anchorage to strengthen corporate HSET programs. You will conduct safety and environmental inspections, manage training systems, and coordinate incident claims, working with stakeholders across UIC companies.

The role entails developing training matrices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and acting as system administrator for HSET databases, with periodic travel to Alaska operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in safety management, environmental science, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum of two years of experience in safety, health, or environmental program administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid state driver's license.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safety Program Management: support corporate HSET program management and compliance.
• Environmental Program Management: support environmental program requirements and spill response planning.
• Claims and Insurance Program Management: oversee claims coordination with insurers and supervisors.
