Job summary

Aleut Corporation in Adak, AK seeks a rotational terminal operator to ensure safe, compliant fuel terminal operations. The role is two weeks on, two weeks off, with potential longer shifts. Provides housing, and round-trip airfare from Anchorage, plus a company vehicle on location.

Responsibilities include fueling vessels, transferring fuel, sampling and testing, and maintaining equipment. Requires CDL Hazmat, SIDA/TWIC within 6 months, and safety-driven performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Current Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Must obtain SIDA badge within 6 months of hire date.
• Must obtain TWIC within 6 months of hire date.
• Hazmat physical and ongoing safety training as required.

Responsibilities

• Embrace company mission and uphold safety, integrity and teamwork.
• Follow terminal policies including health, environment and safety guidelines.
• Perform daily operations and minor repairs to maintain fuels systems.
• Fuel vessels, transfer fuel, offload to storage tanks, and prepare supporting documents.
• Analyze fuel samples for water/sediment and test API gravity/flashpoint.
• Participate in spill response training and maintain orderly site.
• Other duties as assigned.
