Job summary

Crown Innovations, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska seeks a Communications Electronics Installation Technician to support statewide electronics installation operations. The role requires 25% travel and a schedule of Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-site work from Anchorage.

The technician will install and integrate communications systems, support FAA interfaces, and work closely with engineers to meet mission needs. Strong independence and field problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Must be able to obtain and maintain any required federal background investigation or security clearance.
Associate’s Degree, Electronics Degree, completion of a two-year technical training or certification program in a relevant field, or at least five years of directly related electronics installation/fabrication experience.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited onsite supervision.
Ability to travel approximately 25% throughout Alaska.
Ability to work non-standard hours when required based on project or site needs.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, align, test, troubleshoot, and maintain VHF and UHF radios and associated communications systems.
Set up and support Radio Control Equipment (RCE).
Install new radio racks, radios, and other Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
Remove and properly dispose of legacy communications equipment.
Connect and integrate Telco requirements, including Commercial Telco, RCL, Field Cable, and Fiber Optics.
