Job summary

Anchoragechamber is seeking energetic individuals for a part-time Customer Outreach role in Alaska. You will canvas neighborhoods, engage residents, and guide them through quick surveys to connect with the MTA team. The position supports fiber expansion and serves Eagle River, Wasilla/Palmer, and Anchorage communities.

The role emphasizes friendly, outdoors-facing outreach and community connection rather than hard selling, with shifts from noon to 5, five days a week as summer months permit.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers and working outdoors.
• Presentable, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Passionate about community engagement and technology.
• Prior experience in sales, canvassing, or cold calling preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Team up and head out to pre-planned neighborhoods for face-to-face outreach.
• Strike up friendly conversations, complete a quick survey, and connect residents to the MTA team for more info.
• Be the approachable, enthusiastic face of MTA—every door is an opportunity.
• Wrap up your shift with a quick debrief to share insights and feedback.
