Job summary

Primo Fire Protection is seeking exceptional individuals for the role of Fire Alarm Technicians. You will program and commission fire alarm systems, lay out and install low voltage equipment, and conduct thorough testing to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience servicing and inspecting fire alarm systems and panels.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Enjoy working independently and outdoors.
  • NICET/FASA/BASA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Program and commission fire alarm systems.
  • Layout, assemble, and install low voltage equipment for fire alarm systems.
  • Test features and equipment for optimal functioning.
  • Inspect and diagnose system issues.
  • Educate customers on system care and maintenance.
  • Prepare and submit detailed status and completion reports.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to helpers/installers.

Primo Fire Protection is currently seeking exceptional individuals for the role of Fire Alarm Technicians

Position Summary:
  • Program and commission newly installed fire alarm systems.
  • Layout, assemble, and install low voltage equipment for fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough testing of all features and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Perform inspections and diagnose any system issues.
  • Read, comprehend, and follow product manuals, while also educating customers on system care and maintenance.
  • Prepare and submit detailed customer status and completion reports.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to helpers and/or installers.

2 to 3 Days minimum per week on the road

Experience, Education, Skills Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical stamina and capability to perform labor-intensive work.
  • Strong communication, training, and organizational skills, coupled with a sense of pride and integrity.
  • Must enjoy working both independently and outdoors.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean background and driving history.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing and inspecting fire alarm systems and panels.
  • Preferred certifications include NICET Certifications in fire alarm systems, as well as FASA / BASA.
