Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Alarm Technician to join our Oklahoma City team. The role focuses on installing, programming, testing and maintaining low-voltage alarm systems, with emphasis on fire alarm installations and security devices such as access control and CCTV.

This is a permanent, fully onsite position based in Oklahoma City, OK. Qualified candidates will have intermediate experience with fire alarm systems and may have EST/Notifier exposure and programming skills.

• Intermediate level experience with fire alarm systems.
• Experience installing, testing and servicing fire alarm installations.

Description

The Alarm Technician will work collaboratively with team members to install, program, test, repair, and service a wide range of low-voltage alarm systems and equipment. Depending on their skills and experience, the role will focus on either fire alarm installations, including security related devices like access control and cctv.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, program, and test fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues in a timely and professional manner
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and system documentation
• Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently
• Support both new construction and existing commercial facilities

Project Environment

All projects are commercial, ranging from new construction to upgrades and retrofits in existing buildings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
