Job summary

Bay Alarm is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide repair and maintenance of alarm systems at customer sites across California. You will establish positive contact, diagnose malfunctions, and perform installations to Bay Alarm standards.

The role requires 1–2 years alarm experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. This on-site position includes on-call shifts, travel between job sites, and opportunities for NICET trainings and career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years alarm installation or service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of construction and electrical wiring.
• Basic knowledge of electronic theory required.
• Demonstrated competence with hand tools.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Pre-employment screening will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive contact with customers.
• Investigate the cause of alarm malfunction.
• Explain service to the customer.
• Service system to company standards.
• Process necessary documentation.
• Provide on-call service as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
