The Alarm Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Grand Prairie, TX. This role is responsible for reviewing project plans and specifications, conducting site visits as needed, and preparing accurate estimates for fire alarm systems, including materials, labor, and related costs. The Alarm Estimator collaborates closely with the alarm division, design and engineering teams, and project managers to develop proposals, clarify project requirements, and support bid submissions. Day-to-day activities include analyzing codes and standards, evaluating vendor quotes, updating estimate templates, and maintaining detailed records of bids and awarded projects. The individual in this role will also communicate professionally with clients, respond to questions about estimates, and help ensure that projects are designed to meet both regulatory requirements and company quality standards.
