Job summary

San Antonio Country Club is seeking skilled Ala Carte Wait Staff. We are looking for a Waiter or Waitress with at least 1 year of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced dining environment. Some wine knowledge is helpful and we provide training.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced dining establishment.
Must be courteous, professional and outgoing with strong customer service.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Greet members at table and provide attentive dining service.
Present menu and explain portions, ingredients and potential food allergies.
Set up tables with linens, silverware and glassware; keep areas organized and presentable.
Take and relay food and drink orders using a POS system; ensure timely delivery.
Inform members about daily specials and offer menu recommendations.
Upsell promotional items when appropriate and maintain accurate order details.
Ensure compliance with health codes and safety procedures; maintain professional appearance.
