Aventura at Oakwood Assisted Living in Springfield, OH is hiring Resident Assistants to support residents with daily living needs, promoting comfort, dignity, independence and quality of life. Join a compassionate team in a welcoming environment.

We offer flexible Full-Time and Part-Time roles with day and night shifts, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and opportunities for career growth. Walk-ins welcome between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
• Provide assistance with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Answer resident call lights and respond promptly to resident needs.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition or behavior to the appropriate nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and maintain their independence.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and individual preferences.
• Document care and services provided according to facility procedures.
• Communicate resident concerns and needs to the appropriate team members.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
