Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group's Green Leaf Care Center in Lillington, NC is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to prepare meals in line with resident diet specifications and safety standards. You'll work under the Food Service Director in a supportive, community setting.

The role is full-time, with shifts including early morning blocks, and offers comprehensive benefits after 30 days, plus PTO and tuition opportunities to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet state requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications and procedures.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain standards.
• Assist in upholding Dietary Policies and Procedures as directed.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

  • 6:00a - 7:00p
  • Rotating Weekends
• Wage: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
