Job summary

Phoenix Group of Virginia seeks an experienced AIT/CCT Coordinator to support PEO Carriers and the Refueling Complex Overhaul program at SUPSHIP Newport News. The role coordinates government, contractor, and ship’s force teams to ensure timely completion of compartment work and delivers required reports.

The successful candidate will manage temporary service requests, liaise with OSRs, plan for Conex Box Park operations, and track production metrics while maintaining security clearances and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated experience working on aircraft carriers or large-deck naval platforms preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a tracking log for temporary service requests.
• Process all electronically submitted SORs to the NNS Work Integration Team.
• Interface with government on-site representatives, contractors and Production Controllers to train in requirements and mitigate issues.
• Propose weekly rigging and staging priorities based on requests and available support.
• Plan for and oversee Conex Box Park construction and operations.
• Assist with lay down requests and hazmat coordination on and off the ship.
• Attend production meetings and update SFIMS schedules and production graphs.
• Coordinate the integration of all work with government OSICs, contractors, ship’s force and program management.
