Job summary

Structural Steel Welder position in Mantua Township, NJ with Cannonball Recruiting LLC. Fabricate and weld structural steel components per drawings, AWS D1.1 codes, and AISC standards.

Experience with FCAW and GMAW in heavy fabrication, and operating around cranes and forklifts in a fast-paced shop environment is required. Read weld symbols, fabricate assemblies, inspect welds, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret structural fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Experience welding structural steel to AWS D1.1.
• Proficiency with FCAW and GMAW welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, shop drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
• Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel assemblies including beams and columns.
• Perform FCAW and GMAW welding per AWS D1.1; verify dimensions and tolerances.
