Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of structural welding experience.
• Ability to pass weld tests and AWS certs.
• Knowledge of welding positions (1G-4G, 6G) required.
• Ability to lift and work at heights in fabrication settings.
• Experience reading blueprints and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Weld carbon steel and other metals using FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW.
• Interpret blueprints and welding symbols for fabrication.
• Fit and lay out components with jigs, fixtures, and tack welds.
• Inspect welds for visual quality and code compliance.
• Operate grinders, torches, and fabrication tools.
• Maintain safety procedures and comply with OSHA hot-work rules.
