• Three years of Army fixed-base AIC aircraft-control experience.
• Current AIC certification and FAA Form 7220-1.
• U.S. citizenship and SECRET clearance eligibility.
• Active Army Class IV flight physical documented on DD Form 2992.

Responsibilities

• Oversee watch operations and direct flight-following and special-use airspace assignments.
• Ensure coordination and emergency calls receive responses within 10 seconds.
• Support on-the-job instruction and document assessments using DA Form 3479-1-R.
• Perform position qualification evaluations when directed; biennial skill evaluations are excluded.
• Maintain operational records and personnel currency.
• Alert search-and-rescue resources to aircraft emergencies and report equipment outages.
• Assist with responses to unauthorized or noncompliant unmanned aircraft systems and document incidents for the Contracting Officer’s Representative.

Position Overview

CI² Aviation, Inc. is seeking an experienced AIC Administrative Shift Supervisor to lead personnel during an assigned watch. The supervisor combines operational duties with team oversight, helping employees stay coordinated, prepared, and focused on safe performance.

This role requires clear communication, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through in a time-sensitive environment. The position supports continuous operations and cannot be combined with a tower position or another contract key personnel role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee watch operations and direct flight-following and special-use airspace assignments.
• Ensure coordination and emergency calls receive responses within 10 seconds.
• Support on-the-job instruction and document assessments using DA Form 3479-1-R.
• Perform position qualification evaluations when directed; biennial skill evaluations are excluded.
• Maintain operational records and personnel currency.
• Alert search-and-rescue resources to aircraft emergencies and report equipment outages.
• Assist with responses to unauthorized or noncompliant unmanned aircraft systems and document incidents for the Contracting Officer’s Representative.

Required Qualifications

• Three years of Army fixed-base AIC aircraft-control experience.
• Previous AIC certification and FAA Form 7220-1.
• Current facility rating before performing operational duties.
• Active Army Class IV flight physical documented on DD Form 2992.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and availability for required shifts.

Schedule and Assignment

Primary location: Building 13488, Biggs Army Airfield; backup operations: Building 11210. Assigned shifts support year-round coverage:

• Day: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Second: 4:00 p.m.–midnight.
• Third: Midnight–8:00 a.m.

Contingent Upon Contract Award:

This position is contingent upon CI² Aviation, Inc. being awarded the Fort Bliss air traffic control services contract. Any offer of employment and anticipated start date will depend on contract award and fulfillment of applicable contract requirements.
