Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking Wheelchair Attendants to assist airline passengers with mobility in a busy airport environment.

You will help passengers transfer to seats, push wheelchairs to gates, manage luggage, and guide guests through jet bridges while maintaining safety and excellent service. Candidates must be 18+, legally eligible to work in the United States, fluent in English, and able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information using IPads/Tablets, Computers and Mobile Devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials/clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, US Customs).
• Airlines require flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist passengers needing mobility support during transfers to/from seats.
• Push wheelchair passengers to and from airport gates.
• Assist passengers with handling luggage (checked, carry-on, claimed).
• Guide wheelchair passengers down jet bridges and ensure wheel brakes are set.
• Complete reports regarding wheelchairs or incidents.
• Adhere to dispatcher gate orders and respond to passenger questions promptly.
• Maintain consistent attendance and uphold PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
