Job summary

Hudson Group at Chicago O'Hare International Airport Distribution Center is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and distributing merchandise to retail locations while maintaining accurate inventory and safety compliance.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires a high school diploma, forklift or pallet jack experience, SAP familiarity, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse experience preferred, including inventory handling and order processing.
• Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, and verify incoming merchandise; report shortages or overages to management promptly.
• Process and complete all required documentation for merchandise returns to vendors.
• Assist with stock replenishment for sales floors and backrooms; ensure timely and accurate product placement.
• Isolate, sort, and organize damaged or outdated products for supplier credits and returns.
• Maintain accurate inventory records; assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
• Notify management of out-of-stock items and assist in placing stock orders as needed.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely to move inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Assist with trash removal, recycling, and general warehouse upkeep.
• Support effective communication and teamwork between warehouse staff and management.
