Avolta in Chicago O'Hare area is seeking a Merchandising & Brand Specialist to execute category merchandising strategies, maintain brand standards, and support visual presentation across assigned product categories. The role ensures consistent implementation of corporate directives and assists with promotional execution to drive sales.

Responsibilities include daily merchandising tasks, planogram compliance, stock checks, and collaboration with the Category Manager and store leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years combined experience in merchandising, category management, or retail operations.
• 2+ years in a specialist role managing category-specific merchandising tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising principles, planogram execution, and retail display standards.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Implement daily merchandising tasks including product placement and planogram compliance.
• Conduct category inspections for stock levels and pricing; report discrepancies.
• Assist with promotional displays, seasonal transitions, and new product launches.
• Provide product knowledge and assist customers; support sales goals.
• Support receiving activities including price verification and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain inventory management systems and assist with category performance reporting.
• Assist onboarding and training new associates on procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards for product handling.
• Collaborate with Category Manager and store leadership on assessments and promotions.
