Job summary

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PA) invites applications for a Tenant Project Manager position in the JFK Tenant Facilities Office. This role oversees conformance with the Tenant Construction and Alteration Process (TCAP) for tenant work on leased JFK space, coordinating with tenants, consultants, and contractors and reporting to the TCAP Manager.

Responsibilities include guiding modifications in line with TCAP/TCRM, tracking TCAP metrics, and ensuring timely delivery of project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ hands on experience in project management, design, inspection and/or construction.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated knowledge of New York City Building Code requirements, construction standards, and other applicable Engineering Design codes.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all tenant leasehold modifications are performed consistent with the established Tenant Construction and Alteration Process (TCAP) and Tenant Construction Review Manual (TCRM).
• Maintaining integrity of TCAP and delivering projects within the Metrics setup by the central TCAP office.
• Tracking all pertinent information regarding Tenant Alteration Application (TAA) and Minor Work Application (MWA) projects including chairing project kickoff meeting with Tenant and their Architect / Engineer of Record, facilitating meetings between QA Design standards unit and Tenant A/EOR to resolve Rider comments, and following up with all parties to meet deadlines.
• Working with JFK Resident Engineer’s Office to assure Final Permit of Occupancy or Use.
