Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority seeks a Technology Infrastructure Services Manager to develop, operate, and manage the Authority’s technology infrastructure across airport campuses, roadways, and data centers. You’ll oversee lifecycle management, planning, design coordination, operations, maintenance, documentation, compliance, contractor oversight, and staff leadership.

The role is based in the Technology Operations Department at Reagan National (DCA) or Dulles International (IAD);

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressively responsible experience with technology infrastructure within a large business enterprise.
• Management experience leading technical staff and/or contractors across multiple locations.
• Experience managing technology infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Expertise in standards, QA, safety, compliance, and technical documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, assess risks, and make timely decisions.
• Knowledge of supervisory principles and ability to manage operations and programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Designs, operates, and manages the airport's outside and inside plant technology infrastructure.
• Plans upgrades, ensures standards and regulatory compliance, and aligns goals.
• Manages maintenance, moves, adds, and changes with engineering and stakeholders.
• Provides project management oversight from planning to closeout and delivers executive briefings.
• Ensures testing and documentation of infrastructure projects and tasks.
• Maintains infrastructure standards and documentation in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture.
• Serves as Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) and monitors contractor performance.
