Job summary

Daifuku Services America Corporation in Los Angeles is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges, while supporting safety and operational reliability.

You will mentor junior staff, read manuals and schematics, and collaborate with engineers in a fast-paced airport environment, following company procedures and ELS safety policies.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance; clear jams; inspect systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures with guidance from senior staff.
• Lead and mentor junior personnel in maintenance tasks.
• Read repair manuals, schematics, and supervisor instructions.
• Work in tight spaces with PPE and fall protection.
• Follow all safety policies and complete required training.
