Hudson Group at Newark Liberty International Airport is seeking a Stock Hourly Manager to supervise receiving, stocking, and inventory processes during shifts. This role ensures accurate documentation, adherence to safety standards, and coordination with sales staff to optimize store operations.

Essential duties include coaching stock personnel, managing replenishments, processing returns, and using inventory systems to track levels and prepare for audits.

Qualifications

• Education and professional experience combined must exceed 3 years.
• In supervisory roles, 1 year supervising stock/warehouse operations preferred.
• In technical roles, 3–4 years in stock operations or inventory management.
• High school diploma required; an associate degree can count toward the 3-year requirement.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and stock handling procedures.
• Understanding of safety regulations and asset protection in retail/warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervises stock associates during shifts to ensure proper receiving, stocking and inventory procedures while meeting deadlines.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures and safety protocols; conducts shift inspections of merchandise organization and asset protection.
• Coordinates inbound freight: receiving, counting, processing deliveries; reports shortages/damages with accurate documentation.
• Assigns tasks and provides on-the-job coaching to stock team to ensure proper stocking and company standards.
• Manages stock replenishment to maintain adequate inventory and coordinates with sales staff on out-of-stock items.
• Oversees merchandise returns, damaged goods, and vendor credits; maintains documentation and timely returns.
• Uses inventory systems to track stock levels, process orders, and prepare for audits; investigates variances.
