Job summary

Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking an Airport Project Coordinator — Special Systems to plan, coordinate, and support design, installation, testing, and integration of SIG systems across airport construction projects.

The role interfaces with contractors, consultants, and airport departments to keep projects on schedule, meet quality standards, and integrate with airport operations. Salary ranges reflect qualifications and experience; full city benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; five years of full-time experience in HVAC/controls/energy management preferred.
• Ability to use energy management and building automation concepts; knowledge of related systems.
• Knowledge of LEED guidelines and certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate special systems construction activities with project teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress to ensure schedules and standards are met.
• Maintain records, submittals, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout docs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Facilities Management, Environment Science or a closely related field
