Job description

Job Title: Shuttle Driver

Shift(s): Thur-Mon, 5am to 1pm | Fri-Tues, 6am to 2pm | Thurs-Mon, 1pm to 9pm

Pay: $10.83 + Tips (up to $100/day)

Job Description:

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting passengers to and from various designated locations, which may include airports, commercial buildings, hospitals, sports arenas, entertainment venues, educational facilities, or warehouses.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report
  • Ability to pass ODOT physical
  • At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (box trucks or larger)
  • Non-CDL license
Responsibilities:
  1. Transport, load, and unload passengers safely at designated locations
  2. Operate specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts and tie-downs for passengers with special needs
  3. Assist passengers with luggage loading and unloading
  4. Inspect vehicles regularly for safety and maintenance issues; perform routine cleaning and maintenance activities
  5. Assist patrons at airport locations and parking lots
  6. Record preexisting vehicle damage using electronic devices or manual logs
  7. Provide excellent customer service, respond courteously to inquiries, and give directions
  8. Maintain and execute bus evacuation procedures when necessary
  9. Report incidents or claims promptly to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  10. Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment; keep fuel logs
  11. Ensure shuttle cleanliness and disinfect after each use
  12. Perform pre- and post-inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards
