Job summary

Budget Rent a Car of Atlanta is seeking a high-energy, motivated Service Manager Trainee to join our team at the Atlanta Airport location. This role offers hands-on training in vehicle service and fleet management, with a focus on customer service and operational excellence.

As a trainee, you will learn daily operations, assist with vehicle preparation, and coordinate movement and availability of our rental fleet.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive makes and models; general automotive knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.
• Strong customer-service skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a team.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lift up to 70 lbs, climb ladder).
• Comfortable in an airport and vehicle-rental environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with daily vehicle service and fleet management operations.
• Inspect rental vehicles for cleanliness, damage and condition.
• Identify makes, models and basic automotive features.
• Coordinate vehicle movement and availability.
• Assist with vehicle preparation and service needs.
• Maintain accurate records and required paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs professionally.
