Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Agent in New York to provide efficient, friendly service to customers and promote air travel with American Eagle/American Airlines.

Responsibilities include preparing itineraries, issuing tickets, handling refunds, and assisting passengers with reservations and baggage. The role requires strong English communication, flexibility for rotating shifts, and the ability to lift bags up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver’s license.
• Willing and able to work rotating shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends.
• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags up to 75 lbs.
• Must be customer focused, detail oriented, and interested in the airline industry.
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English.
• Possess the legal right to work in the United States.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Experience using Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly service to all of our customers.
• Promote and sell air travel with American Eagle and American Airlines or contracted carriers.
• Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, tickets, and handle baggage charges.
• Escort passengers from terminal to aircraft safely.
• Arrange for passengers with reservations, stand-bys, luggage, and cabin availability.
• Determine flight close-out time and prepare flight forms for accuracy.
• Conduct agent observations and associate activities.
• Administer local training programs and scheduling.
• Maintain supplies and inventory control logs.
• Prepare customer correspondence and compile statistical data for reports.
• Assist management with administrative duties and act as company representative.
