Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Airport Security Trainer to design and deliver training programs for CPR/First Aid/AED, Defensive Tactics, Mobility Devices, Fire/Life Safety, and related security topics at airports under 49 CFR Part 1542. The role requires classroom/instructor experience, strong communication, and ability to develop client-specific training materials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of one (1) year airport-specific experience at a 49 CFR Part 1542 regulated airport or as approved by the State Contract Administrator.
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certified Instructor; instructor certifications in additional training areas as required by local office (OC Spray, Baton Techniques, Handcuffing, CPI, Defensive Tactics, Taser, Driver Training, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver’s license or pass licensing if driving company/vendor vehicles.
• Minimum of two (2) years of classroom instructor experience.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with clients.
• Ability to write manuals, review RFPs, training documents, and prepare presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; able to use office management tech.
• Ability to take initiative and manage multiple deadlines.
• Professional, articulate, and able to exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Develop practical training programs at client and branch level to ensure compliance.
• Identify, vet, and establish relationships with local training academies for external opportunities.
• Communicate with stakeholders (Regional Training Manager, Field operations, Security Professionals, Supervisors, Clients).
• Deliver field training programs in accordance with laws and Allied Universal standards.
• Conduct CPR/First Aid/AED training.
• Conduct Defensive Tactics training (handcuffs, OC spray, etc.).
• Conduct Mobility Devices training (vehicles, bicycles, Segways).
• Conduct field training for Security Professionals and Supervisors.
• Deliver Fire/Life Safety Services training and related programs.
• Conduct leadership training such as Supervisor Essentials and White Glove Customer Service.
• Undertake special projects to support the region as needed.
