Job summary

Menzies Aviation LATAM in Dallas, TX is hiring an Aircraft Security Agent to maintain safety and security of passengers, staff, aircraft and facilities. You will screen passengers, baggage and cargo, monitor access points and respond to incidents with vigilance.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to pass background checks and TSA requirements, basic computer skills and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment. $20.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check and obtain required security clearances (e.g., TSA badge).
• Basic computer skills for reporting and system monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo using approved security procedures and equipment.
• Control access to secure and restricted areas of the airport.
• Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Verify identification and travel documents.
• Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activity.
• Conduct routine patrols of airport terminals, gates, and ramp areas.
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Enforce airport security regulations and company policies.
• Provide customer service while maintaining a high level of vigilance.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and airport authorities as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.
