Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Previous airline experience preferred.
• Previous experience in security, military, customer service preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable telephone and transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge.

Responsibilities

• Must be familiar with Government/Airport/Client and Company regulations.
• Deals courteously and communicates effectively with fellow employees.
• Communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to managers.
• Must conduct physical searches and take proper action upon detection of a questionable item.
• Inspect foods, sealed items, beverages, serving utensils, supplies, liquor and duty-free items.
• Inspect vehicles and carts for signs of tampering and security breaches.
• Seal carts with tamper-evident security seals after loading.
• Notify Law Enforcement or security coordination when necessary.
• Ensure safe handling of dangerous items discovered during screening.
