Allied Universal is seeking an Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI for a part-time overnight shift. You will primarily patrol and drive to deter security incidents, maintain a visible presence, and provide professional customer service to travelers and airport personnel.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ years of age, and fluency in English. You will be subject to background checks and drug screening in compliance with policy.

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or other stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, or policy violations according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations and emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
