Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Airport Security Officer for a full-time role in Honolulu, HI. You will work Thursday through Sunday evenings to provide security and customer service at an airport location, performing patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents.

The position requires 18+ years of age, valid driver's license may be required for driving positions, and a high school diploma or equivalent. You will be part of a team emphasizing integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site-specific procedures, verifying credentials and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
