Qualifications

• 1+ year of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Able to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Background check and drug screen per applicable laws.
• Background check according to DOT/ID office requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and other airport stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned airport locations to deter incidents and report hazards.
• Monitor areas for access-control compliance and report unauthorized access or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events calmly and professionally.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal supervision and airport personnel.

• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and other airport stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned airport locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor assigned areas for compliance with access-control procedures and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific post orders and notification procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal supervision, airport operations personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
