Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and government personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and restricted-access points to identify unusual conditions or prohibited activity.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity following site procedures and regulations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with airport or emergency personnel as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and government personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, restricted-access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or prohibited activity.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures and applicable regulations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport or emergency personnel as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
