Job summary

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is seeking a Law Enforcement Checkpoint Officer to help maintain safety at TSA passenger screening checkpoints under the guidance of the Law Enforcement Lieutenant.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 5 years of sworn law enforcement experience, and NC Basic Law Enforcement Training Certification. Compensation is $28.04 per hour for full-time, on-site work with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required.
• Experience: 5 years of law enforcement experience as a sworn officer.
• License or Certifications: NC Basic Law Enforcement Training Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conducts law enforcement duties at TSA passenger screening checkpoints.
• Directs motor vehicle traffic at vehicle inspection stations when required by threat level.
• Works with full-time officers during special assignments.
• Replaces full-time officers when directed by Law Enforcement Lieutenant.
• Successfully complete annual mandatory training as required by the NC CJ Education and Training Standards Commission.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Law Enforcement Lieutenant.
