Jackson County seeks a vigilant airport enforcement officer to protect Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport property, ensuring safety, security, and orderly operations. You will patrol, issue notices, and assist the public and tenants with professional conduct.

Expect a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays, with thorough training and adherence to FAA and TSA regulations. Must pass background checks and obtain required licenses promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 18+; prior security/public safety experience preferred.
• Possession of DPSST unarmed private security license within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to learn FAA advisory circulars and TSA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Enforce safety, security, traffic control, and parking standards on airport property.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and assist the public, tenants and facilities.
• Conduct investigations related to injuries, accidents and breaches of regulations.
• Perform vehicle searches and monitor unattended or suspicious baggage.
• Adhere to union, county policies and required trainings; maintain records.
