Job summary

Avflight Services Knoxville - Alcoa, TN is seeking a customer service agent to assist passengers and cargo handling in a fast-paced airport environment.

Responsibilities include preparing itineraries, issuing tickets, checking baggage, guiding passengers, operating ground equipment, and maintaining safety standards; requires HS diploma, good English, and ability to lift 50 lbs; shifts include swing/graveyard and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must read and write English; bilingual a plus.
• Must be willing to work varied hours including swing/graveyard, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older; HS diploma or GED.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug test; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly service to all customers.
• Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and issue tickets; check baggage.
• Arrange for passengers with reservations, standby, luggage, and in-flight needs.
• Guide passengers from terminal to aircraft safely throughout procedures.
• Load/unload cargo, transport between terminals and aircraft, and marshal equipment.
