Job Schedule: Monday to Sunday, with A.M. and P.M. shifts starting at 04:00 am.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft.
- Safeguard customers' baggage, air cargo, and mail from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
- Lift, load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials safely.
- Operate pushback equipment and coordinate with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
- Record and receive customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials.
- Transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, and maintain related records.
- Operate or drive motorized equipment (belt loaders, lift trucks, pushback tugs, etc.) or manually handle carts and containers.
- Complete paperwork and data entry related to work assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned within skill and experience levels.
Qualifications
- Must be a resident of the state.
- Valid in-state driver's license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a 10-year background check.
- At least 18 years old.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Complete ramp and SIDA training for airport security ID.
- Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 70+ pounds regularly and 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
- Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
- Able to work in cramped or elevated spaces and carry heavy items up/down stairs.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Preferred: 1+ year relevant experience.
