Job Summary

Responsible for marshalling aircraft in and out of gates, loading, unloading, and sorting baggage. Also responsible for cleaning aircraft, restocking items, de-icing aircraft, conducting inspections, and hazard checks. Operate ramp equipment such as stairs and bridges.

Job Duties

• Marshal arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings during pushback and de-icing procedures.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment such as bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• Perform cabin service duties like servicing aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabins, restocking supplies, and other related tasks.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned within your skills and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must obtain credentials as required by airport, state, or customs authorities.
• Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry more than 70 lbs; constantly lift up to 70 lbs; push, pull, walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Open to working outdoors in severe weather conditions.
