Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Ramp Agent in our Ground Handling Department at the Norfolk airport. The role focuses on baggage handling, servicing aircraft, and operating ramp equipment in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

The successful candidate will complete ramp agent training, work shifts including nights and weekends, and contribute to safe, on-time operations while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must complete Ramp Agent training course.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Able to work in outdoor, high-noise environment.
• Employment is contingent upon a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage and cargo.
• Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment.
• Guide and park aircraft.
• Perform cabin maintenance tasks.
• De-ice aircraft.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives.
