Job description

Days of the week: Shift start times vary from Monday to Sunday, with options for A.M. or P.M. shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Loading, unloading, servicing, guiding, and directing customer aircraft.
• Safeguarding customer baggage, air cargo, and mail from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
• Handling passenger baggage, freight, and company materials in a safe manner using aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts.
• Operating pushback equipment and maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
• Recording and managing baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials.
• Transporting cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and maintaining related records.
• Operating motorized equipment such as belt loaders, lift trucks, pushback tugs, and deicers, or manually handling carts and containers.
• Completing paperwork and entering data into the company's information system.
• Performing other duties as assigned within skill and experience levels.

Qualifications:

• Must be a resident of the state.
• Valid in-state driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Completion of ramp and SIDA training for airport security.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing 70 pounds or more regularly.
• Physical ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in cramped or elevated spaces.
• High School diploma or GED; relevant experience preferred.
