Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation is seeking an Associate Project Manager to lead delivery of airport baggage handling systems. You will report to the Executive Manager of Project Management and collaborate with mechanical, electrical and software engineers as well as subcontractors to design, install and commission customer solutions for major airports.

Responsibilities include coordinating deadlines and budgets, building stakeholder relationships, and applying flexible project-tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent years of work experience in material handling or construction.
• Knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera or Microsoft Project).
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change and complexity in dynamic environments.
• Proven ability to build relationships with project sponsors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deadlines and budgets for multi-year, multi-million dollar baggage handling systems.
• Cultivate trust and communication among all project stakeholders: sponsors, users, resources and team members.
• Use a broad toolkit to track tasks and adapt approaches for each project.
• Improve business results and capture lessons learned at project completion.
