Job summary

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Board is seeking a lead equipment/operator supervisor to oversee crew performing concrete and asphalt maintenance, erosion control, and storm drain work. You will ensure tool supplies, monitor tasks, and reallocate resources for efficiency.

You will operate range of paving equipment and provide on-the-job training. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years in related field, 1 year in lead capacity, and a valid Class B CDL or ability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in construction, landscaping, grounds keeping or mowing.
• Experience operating paving construction equipment.
• At least 1 year in a lead capacity.
• Valid Class B CDL or ability to obtain one within probation period.
• Clean private driving record with limited moving violations and no recent DWI.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in maintaining, repairing, and laying concrete and asphalt surfaces.
• Ensures tools and supplies are stocked for scheduled tasks.
• Monitors daily work, reassigns personnel/equipment as needed, and enforces safety rules.
• Operates dump trucks, sweepers, backhoe, grader, dozer and other paving equipment.
• Assists in daily work schedules, evaluations, and reporting.
• Provides on-the-job training for staff.
• May perform manual labor such as moving furniture and boxes.
