Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is seeking a Painter to maintain painted surfaces at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport. You will work in the Paint Division, handling interior and exterior surfaces, pavement markings, and related maintenance tasks.

The role requires four years in painting, strong safety practices, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressively responsible experience in the painting trade.
• Knowledge of and skill in using painting tools and equipment to achieve durable finishes.
• Ability to speak and write effectively.
• Ability to analyze data and information (including blueprints and schematics).

Responsibilities

• Prepares surfaces and applies paint and finishes to interior/exterior structures, pavement, and vehicles.
• Lays out markings and uses tools for pavement markings per FAA/VDOT specs.
• Drives and operates airfield striping equipment and maintenance of paint supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
