Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking a Painter to lead daily painting work on airport equipment and facilities at our Houston ramp. You will prep surfaces, apply coatings, perform touch-ups and corrosion control while following safety and airport procedures.

You will train and guide fellow painters, ensure quality, and coordinate with maintenance as needed. Qualifications include a valid driver's license, prior painting experience, and ability to work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License required.
• Experience in commercial/industrial painting preferred.
• Able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily painting activities and assign tasks to painters.
• Train team on painting techniques, equipment use, PPE, and safety.
• Inspect finished work for quality and compliance with specs and site requirements.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paints/coatings per specifications.
• Perform touch-ups, rust removal, and finish repairs on equipment and facilities.
