Job summary

Avelo Airlines, Inc. seeks a Supervisor, Airport Operations to oversee daily airport activities, train staff, and manage service-provider relationships. The role requires monitoring performance, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to SLAs across assigned airports.

Responsibilities include mentoring Station Managers, coordinating with airports on schedules and safety updates, and delivering customer service and ramp training. Travel may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Three (3) years’ experience in Airport Operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations at assigned airports to drive operational excellence.
• Report on daily operational performance metrics.
• Conduct on-site audits and station visits.
• Liaise with service providers and airport partners.
• Ensure contractors meet SLAs and contracted scope of work.
• Mentor and guide Station Managers.
• Communicate updates to airports on schedules, procedures, and safety briefs.
• Provide training to crewmembers and managers and track training records.
• Perform regulatory and operational compliance audits per FAA, TSA, DOD, DOT and other regulations.
• Inspect contractor activities such as GSE repairs, deicing, and fueling.
