Job summary

Penn State University is seeking a full-time Airport Attendant – Grade 4 to join the team in University Park, PA. Responsibilities include fueling operations, safety compliance, aircraft marshalling, and customer service to pilots and passengers.

You will perform inspections, operate ground support equipment, manage weather observations, and coordinate with the FAA and other agencies as required. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required; experience 3–12 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain airport fuel operations and equipment as described in the duties.
• Assist pilots and passengers as requested and direct aircraft movements as needed.
• Perform safety, security, and weather observation tasks and coordinate with appropriate authorities.
• Open airport for business in the morning and close at night; drive university vehicles for errands.
• Conduct general airport operations, maintenance, and cleanup as required.
