Job summary

FlexTek is seeking a Senior Operations Manager DOT to lead airport service operations, overseeing ground handling, customer service, security and facilities to ensure safe, reliable service.

You will drive budgeting, compliance with DOT and aviation rules, mentor a high‑performing team, and coordinate with airport authorities and airlines to deliver continuous improvement and excellent passenger experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport or aviation operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Extensive knowledge of airport operations, regulations, and safety standards.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to pass a DOT background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of daily activities across all operational departments, ensuring smooth and efficient airport operations.
• Formulate and establish operational policies and procedures, and oversee their implementation to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Oversee coordination between ground handling, customer service, security and other departments to ensure integrated service delivery.
• Manage the operational budget, including development of financial plans and cost optimization strategies.
• Ensure adherence to aviation regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
